While surfing isn't the first thing that comes to mind when you think about Atlantic City, it should be. It arguably has the biggest waves in South Jersey and has been known locally as a great surfing spot for decades.

There are three surfing beaches in Atlantic City: Crystal Beach at New Hampshire Avenue, the Delaware Avenue Beach, and the Downtown Beach at Raleigh Avenue. While lifeguards are present at swimming beaches, no such luck at these surfing beaches, so take precautions, and never surf alone.

Hey, and if you haven't surfed before, surfing lessons are a great idea, available at the Atlantic City Surf Club. For more information, click here.
