Atlantic City's historic Boardwalk Hall, originally built in 1929 and renovated in 2001, can accommodate 14,700 people in the arena and 3,200 in the Ballroom. It is the city's largest venue for concerts, sporting events and family shows.

Boardwalk Hall is listed as a National Historic Landmark. Most famous in its early years for hosting notable events such as The Beatles, the Miss America Pageant, and indoor football, Boardwalk Hall was once the largest clear-span building in the world, at 456 feet long, 310 feet wide and an arching 137 foot barrel vault ceiling. It also home to the world's largest pipe organ, originally installed to accompany silent movies. The Midmer Losh pipe organ is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records and is currently undergoing a restoration program. Boardwalk Hall is now home to the A-10 Men's Basketball Championship and the ECAC Hockey Men's Championship.
