32 Degrees Luxe Lounge located in The Quarter inside The Tropicana in Atlantic City is a nice change of pace from the other nightlife options inside the Trop. Known mainly around the city for its after-hours parties and private events, 32 is open almost every Tuesday and Wednesday nights from 10pm until 3am, and every Friday-Sunday from 10pm until sunrise. Providence Nightclub inside The Quarter is a Great Place to Party.

October 25, 2010 in Travelogues by Ash Del

Providence nightclub inside The Quarter at The Tropicana opened it's doors in 2007, and has been partying hard ever since. Providence is one of my all time favorite places to go dance in AC, partly because it is inside The Quarter which is just plain convenient when it comes to fun, and because it's always up to date on the hottest music, events, and celebrity guests. Providence is staffed by a young ambitious team who work hand in hand with their New York partners to make sure that Providence is always ahead of the rest when it comes to nightlife, and always a reflection of the infamous Providence NYC. A Dam Good Sports Bar at The Tropicana is A Dam Good Time!

October 11, 2010 in Travelogues by Ash Del

The Quarter inside The Tropicana is home to some of the best restaurants and nightlife venues in Atlantic City. Giant palm trees, fountains, strings of beautiful lights, and an everlasting blue sky set the scene as you stroll through three levels of shopping and dining. On the third floor is where you can find A Dam Good Sports Bar, no pun intended, it's actually called "A Dam Good Sports Bar" and, no pun intended, but that's exactly what it is. Read More →

Saturday Night Fever is Easy to Catch at Boogie Nights!

October 7, 2010 in Travelogues by Ash Del

Boogie Nights inside the Resorts Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City was voted "Best Dance Club" and "Best Place to Bring a Date" by the 2009 Atlantic City Nightlife Awards, and it was well deserved. Boogie Nights is the most fun I've had at an Atlantic City nightclub all summer long. I went to Boogie Nights at the end of August with a few friends as an end of summer celebration, and it was a great experience from the moment we walked in the door. There was no long line, and a cover charge of only $15 at the door. The dress code is casual party clothes, nothing too fancy and no silly requirements like "trendy upscale attire." The woman who checked out ID's and gave us wristbands was very friendly and extremely welcoming. Read More →

Atlantic City, The Walk

June 22, 2010 in Travelogues by jessica beder

Meandering back to my home in Connecticut after a cross country road trip to Utah and Colorado, my friend and I decided to take a break from the cede monotony of the New Jersey Turnpike to investigate the New Jersey coast. Having grown up near Point Pleasant, I was vaguely familiar with the intoxicating draw of the Jersey seaside, although I had yet to venture as far south in the state as Atlantic City. We quickly decided we were up for an adventure.

Atlantic City, the New Jersey Boardwalk

June 6, 2010 in Travelogues by jessica beder

Travelers come from all over the world to engage with Atlantic City's notoriously fast-paced seaside retreat. The savory decadence can be experienced through an innumerable catalog of casinos, resorts, and shopping vistas, although none of these attractions compare to the infamous New Jersey boardwalks. Having spent much of my youth growing up on the Jersey Shore, I can attest to the enchantment of an afternoon spent lackadaisically shuffling along these archetypal footways, sticky fingers awkwardly curled around a giant candy apple. Inhaling the crisp aquatic aroma on the way to the Ferris Wheel is so uplifting that you may as well be levitating. A true haven, no visit to Atlantic city is complete without an exploration of this oceanic oasis.
