  • The Noyes Museum of Art of The Richard Stockton College of NJ celebrates fall and Halloween with its’ popular annual Family Fun Day on October 22nd, 2011 from 10am - 2pm. Featuring hands-on arts & crafts activities, artists’ demonstrations, pumpkin painting (first 100 children), a Halloween costume parade, live music, ghost stories, a group sculpture project lead by an artist, face painting, a marine-life touch tank, a pond discovery walk by a naturalist from the Forsythe Wildlife Refuge and more! Come out for great fun for the entire family. Rain or shine.

  • Enjoy the autumnal weather at Lake Lenape Park in Mays Landing during the Waterfront Wine & Food Festival, taking place on October 22nd & 23rd, 2011. The event will feature wine from 8 South Jersey Wineries, live entertainment, crafters, food vendors plus sample the specialties of the areas great restaurants. There will also be seminar presentations by the Atlantic Cape Community College Culinary School. A portion of the proceeds will be used as a scholarship to the ACCC Culinary School.

  • Do you want to discover if Absecon Lighthouse is home to ghostly keepers that still watch over the shore in Atlantic City? Did the Jersey Devil pay a visit in 1909? Come visit the Absecon Lighthouse to hear the "true" ghost stories that prompted a visit from SyFy's Ghost Hunters! Guided tours of the grounds and tower will let you explore the rich history and experience some spooky tales. Light refreshments will be provided. The Absecon Lighthouse Haunted Tours will take place on Saturday, October 29th, 2011. Admission is $20 a person.

  • 18th Annual Oktoberfest at Trump Taj Mahal: October 29 & 30, 2011

  • Trump Taj Mahal announces the 18th Annual Oktoberfest, where the beer flows-and so do the good times- Saturday, October 29th and Sunday, October 30th, 2011. This international celebration has become a favorite tradition at Trump Taj Mahal since 1994. Tickets may be purchased at the door for $5. Oktoberfest will be held in the Grand Ballroom from noon to 8pm on October 29th and from noon to 6pm on October 30th. Attendees can savor authentic German food including Bratwurst, Sauerbraten, Hungarian Goulash, Frankfurters, complimented by Draught Beer, Jagermeister and more.

Returning for its 25th season to the Stockton Performing Arts Center, “The Nutcracker” is the all-time holiday favorite show. Using Tchaikovsky’s romantic score, the program features colorful scenery, period costumes, and a cast of nearly one hundred.

  • Winter Wonderland at the Atlantic City Convention CenterAtlantic City children ages 3-12 are invited to enjoy an afternoon of Winter Wonderland fun from 1-4pm Saturday, December 10th, 2011, at the Atlantic City Convention Center. The City of Atlantic City and Atlantic City Free Public Library will present this free community event in the Convention Center’s Hall A. All children must be accompanied by an adult. The ballroom will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland, complete with seasonal decorations – including snowmen, toy soldiers, candy canes, reindeer – festive music, plus special appearances by Santa Claus and Mrs.
