Thursday Night "Salon Series" Coming to the Noyes Hammonton

The Noyes Museum of Art - Hammonton will be offering original programs and workshops on Thursday evenings beginning September 2nd through May 26th 2011. The first Thursday evening program will be taking place on Thursday, September 2nd from 7:00-8:00 pm featuring a lecture by artist Sally Willowbee. This lecture will be in conjunction with the Noyes exhibit featuring the artwork of the Philadelphia Dumpster Divers from September 1-27, 2010.

These lectures and workshops are designed to excite and insight interest in the arts. A different workshop will take place on a Thursday evening of each month. For the month of September programs will be held on the: 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23th of this month.

Thursday Evening Schedule:

1st Thursdays: Noyes' Insight to the Arts: Noyes' Insight to the Arts is an hour long lecture series highlighting an artist and their art work. These series are designed to give the participant an insight into the world of an artist.

2nd Thursday: The Noyes' Sketch Box: The Noyes' Sketch Box is an hour long sketching workshop designed for both professional and amateur artists. Each week's theme is designed to challenge the artists in order to perfect their skill.

3rd Thursday: Noyes' Matinee at the Museum: Matinees at the Museum showcases a 50 minute film about an artist, his life, and works. These film and discussion nights are designed to both educate and entertain the participants about great master's and their work.

4th Thursday: Noyes' Makers: Noyes' Makers are individual programs and workshops designed to incite various people's taste in the arts. Noyes' Makers incorporates both the fine and the performing art in these eclectic workshops and classes.
