The 26th Annual Sheepshearing Festival in Waltham will take place on April 27, 2013. Join us for a fun-filled day of activities including demonstrations of sheepshearing, herding dogs, spinning and weaving, a crafts fair with 88 vendors, live music, performers, historic re-enactors, and more. ZooLights returns to Stone Zoo on Thanksgiving (Nov. 22)! This winter wonderland attracts thousands of visitors each year who get into the holiday spirit by strolling along tree-lined paths lit by thousands of twinkling lights. Upon entering the Zoo, guests will visit Yukon Creek, which not only features dazzling holiday lights but is also home to bald eagles, North American porcupines, reindeer and (new this year!) arctic foxes. Children will want to make sure they visit with Santa, who awaits their arrival in Santa’s Castle. Jolly Old St. Nick will be available for photos through Dec. 23. - View Event >

Summer is almost here! Kick it off with the "Revere Beach Summer Fest" from Wednesday, May 30th through Sunday, June 17th on Ocean Ave., Revere, MA 02151. The carnival fundraiser will feature rides, games and food. Featured rides this year include the Freakout, Vertigo, and the Arctic Blast along with many more exciting carnival rides. In addition, there will be magic shows Wednesday through Sunday.

Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl, the largest all-you-can-eat ice cream festival, serving up ice cream, frozen yogurt, and sorbet from ten of the nation's leading ice cream companies, will take place from June 5th - 7th, 2012 at City Hall Plaza, Boston. The event will be held from noon to 8pm all three days.

The New England Folk Festival is a fabulous blend of dance, music, crafts, and food from many lands. The 2012 Festival, our 68th annual Festival, is to be held on April 20th - 22nd, 2012 in Mansfield, Massachusetts (near Boston).
The festival will feature a lot of contra and traditional square dancing, International Folk Dancing, dancing from specific regions, couple dancing, swing dancing, clogging, etc. All levels of expertise are featured. Particular favorites are the contra dance medleys, originated at the NEFFA Festival. - View Event >
