Referring to the central section of Cape Cod, the Mid-Cape is the most populated and the most visited part of the Cape. It’s the seat of the government and the center of commerce for the entire region. Flanked to the north by the tranquil waters of Cape Cod Bay, while surf-worthy waves pound the shores of the Atlantic to the south, here all roads eventually lead to the beach. The Mid-Cape is the place to shop, visit museums, catch a concert (or a high-speed ferry), and visit a seaside mansion along the gold coast of Highway 28 through the villages of Hyannis Port, Cotuit, and Osterville.
