You climb the stairs a little shaky, palms sweating. You lie down, assume the position, creep out over the edge, and plummet seven stories down at what feels like a 90-degree angle, flattening out just in time to appreciate the intense rush of Drop Out, one of the most thrilling rides at California's largest water park. But don't let that scare you. Raging Waters tailors to all levels of thrill-seekers and swimmers, and all ages, too. Spend your time relaxing on an inner tube, playing at Kid's Kingdom, or zooming down a multitude of exhilarating slides. The newest attraction simulates riding the perfect wave, so if you have yet to brave the untamed ocean, test your skills here first. LA is very warm in the summer, so spending a day at Raging Waters is a fun way to cool down and relax with the whole family. Rides, food, souvenirs, and lifeguards keep the experience fun and safe.

Located in San Dimas, the park is about a half hour drive from LA and stretches over 50 acres of land. It is closed for the winter months and open daily in July and August. Although open in May, June, and September, the days are limited and closing times vary, so be sure to check the website for specific dates and times for the date you plan on going.
