Acres of Books was the greatest secondhand bookshop in Long Beach before it was bought to make way for redevelopment. It shut its doors a few years ago, but thousands of books remained unsold. Now that the building is being worked on, the people inside have graciously opened it up Wednesdays from 1:30-4pm for people to come on in and take as many books as they would like for FREE.
Entrance is through the north side of the shop, through a side door.
For more information, visit Yelp.
