Much of the original decor remains...kidney shaped drop ceiling, fountains and giant Tiki gods (moai).The Tonga Hut's decor and ambiance had fallen prey to bad taste over the years, however it is under new ownership and major improvements have been made. Purchased by new 30-something owners in November 2005, this icon of a beloved era gone by is being returned to its former 50's and 60's glory with a modern twist.
