Ali'i Kula Lavender provides a sense of tranquility and peace of mind that cannot be found at the beach. This Upcountry farm rests 4,000 feet up the slope of Haleakala, providing marvelous views of South Maui, the West Maui Mountains, and the sea. You'll find the air crisp and refreshing and the ambience effortlessly pleasing as you're surrounded by rows of green tufts abloom with the calming purple herb. Horticultural master Ali'i Chang planted and designed this 10-and-a-half-acre property that produces 45 varieties of lavender accented by hydrangeas, proteas, birds of paradise, and other tropical flora. Tinkling wind chimes, trickling fountains, and Buddha statues arranged artfully throughout the property add that extra touch of Feng Shui.

Stop by the gift shop for lavender everything: from hand soaps, lotions, and spritzers to scones, fudge sauces, and salad dressings – many of which have been manufactured through partnerships with local businesses. You can also feel good about your purchases because Ali'i Kula Lavender uses animal and earth friendly materials, recyclable packaging, and organic ingredients as much as possible in their products. The farm also offers daily tours, tea services, and crafting workshops. Check the website for schedules, booking information, and pricing.
