Maui Open Studios Event: February 5 - 20, 2011

Posted in: Upcoming Events

From the graceful curve of a giant ocean swell to a tranquil, empty shoreline, the beauty of natural scenery is second to none. Get in touch with your artistic side at the first annual Maui Open Studios Event. Enjoy the bright, tropical acrylics from painter LL Towles, the ethereal photo collages of Carolyn Quan, and gaze at the fine detailing of Michael Neal's hand carved furniture and woodwork sculptures. Skilled artists in mediums of fine art, photography and mixed media from across the spectrum will be showcasing their work.

This will be one of the most interesting and fun events to both participate in and attend on the island of Maui. It is the first event of it's kind in Hawaii, and will feature over 100 participating artists and artisans.

This entire event is free to the public, and takes place on the first three weekends in February. The public will have the opportunity to visit as many studios and gallery spaces as they wish and to purchase artwork and the creations of these artists directly from them.
