The beaches of West Maui are home to rugged coastlines that bear some of the island's biggest winter surf, including Honolua Bay, a world-class surf break in the winter months. The West Shore is also Maui's luxury resort hot spot, and is home to Ka'anapali Beach, which comprises three miles of golden sand edged with big name resorts, condominiums, shops, restaurants, and golf courses, making it hands down the most action-packed beach on Maui.
