The 200-yard range contains four levels of heated and weather-protected hitting stalls. The golf club is open to the public and also contains an indoor putting studio, sand trap, and chipping area.
The golf club at Chelsea Piers offers lessons at its Golf Academy from PGA (Professional Golfers' Association) certified professionals for golfers of all levels. Children 4-16 years old have the opportunity to participate in junior programming, while adults can partake in the competitive golf league or private/ semi-private lessons.
The facility is a modern and high tech building overlooking the Hudson River. Instead of manually teeing buckets of balls, the driving range has an automatic tee-up system. In addition, the Golf Academy is equipped with digital swing analysis computers and full swing simulators.
Whether you're a pro or just a beginner, Chelsea Piers is a high-quality golf facility all year long. The club is open March through September, 6:30 am - midnight, and October through April, 6:30 am - 11pm. Bring your own clubs, or rent some at Chelsea Piers, and start swinging away towards the Hudson.
