Manhattan's Conde Nast Building, also known as 4 Times Square, is one of the tallest buildings in New York City, reaching an impressive 48 stories. Part of a large project to redevelop 42nd Street in the center of Manhattan, its construction was finished in 1999. Today, the Conde Nast Building stands as a proud assimilation of old and new New York, representing both the infectious energy of Times Square and the more traditional business atmosphere of Midtown Manhattan.

Designed by Fox & Fowle architectural firm, the Conde Nast Building is one of the most prominent examples of green design in the country. Some of its environmentally conscious features include gas-fired absorption chillers and a curtain wall that provides top-notch insulation and shading, enabling the building to heat and cool itself for most of the year. It also contains a network of recycling chutes, an air-delivery system that delivers 50% more fresh air than the New York City Building Code requires, and furniture made from non-toxic and biodegradable material.

In addition to being the home of Conde Nast Publications, it also houses NASDAQ's MarketSite in its northwest corner. The NASDAQ sign at the base of the building is, at 120 feet high, the world's largest LED display. If, like many people who visit New York, you want to see some of the most impressive skyscrapers in the world, you can't miss the Conde Nast Building.
