2011 Oktoberfest Events in New York City

Lexington Avenue Oktoberfest: October 2, 2011: On Sunday, October 2nd, 2011 from 10am to 6pm, Lexington Avenue will shut down from 42nd – 57th Street for the annual celebration of Oktoberfest. Over 500 authentic, ethnic foods, art, craft, antique, jewelry and merchandise exhibitors will create a midway along Lexington Avenue combined with live entertainment and tons of dancing. 54th Annual Steuben Parade & Octoberfest: September 17, 2011: Celebrate the 54th German-American Steuben Parade on Saturday, September 17th, 2011. The German-American Steuben Parade is the biggest German culture organization in the United States. Every year it brings approximately 100,000 people to New York's famed Fifth Avenue. For the first time ever, the Steuben Parade will be televised live on PBS thanks to a commitment from local New York stations WNET thirteen and WLIW21. New York's Second Annual Oktoberfest on the Hudson: September 24, 2011: New York's Second Annual Oktoberfest on the Hudson will take place on Saturday, September 24th, 2011. They will transform World Yacht’s Pier 81 into a Beer Garden on the water with Paulaner German beers.
