Get Real Presents - brings their 'Cask Ale Festival' to the boroughs! 1st stop is Alewife NYC in Long Island City - This excellent Beer Hall is just about perfect to host their beloved Cask Ale - showing off 2 floors and a back patio - Get real Presents will be running 4 sessions through out the weekend of July 13th - 15th, 2012 showcasing many many great breweries foreign and domestic.
The centerpiece of the festival will be the Cask Bar, which will showcase 50+ cask ales from some of the nation's best craft breweries. Attendees can expect rare cask finds like Sierra Nevada Harvest, Green Flash Double Stout, Lagunitas Brown Shugga, Ballast Point Sculpin IPA and Sixpoint Diesel. The beer lineup will be available on the Get Real Presents website soon and is being updated daily as new beers come in.
The festival will also feature local beers from Brewery Ommegang, Brooklyn Brewery, Greenport Harbor Brewing, Kelso of Brooklyn, Empire Brewing Company & Sixpoint Craft Ales.
