Winterfest at the Central Park Zoo returns in 2011! On the first three Fridays and Saturdays in December (December 2–3, 9–10, 16–17, 2011), they're open until 6:30pm so you can stop by in the afternoon or after work for a stroll under thousands of twinkling lights. Visit cold-weather creatures, enjoy crafts and Wildlife Theater, see two wintry 4-D features, and watch the animals enjoy fish-cicles, fruits, and other favorite treats during holiday enrichment sessions. For a break from the chilly air, warm up with birds, lemurs, and tortoises in the Tropic Zone, a steamy 80 degrees all year long.
