The Grub Street Food Festival is Back at the Hester Street Fair!: October 23, 2011

New York Magazine and Hester Street Fair Present the Grub Street Food Festival, dubbed as the Largest Food Festival on the Lower East Side... ok so they're not sure if it's the biggest, but they do promise it is the most delicious. This much anticipated festival will once again be taking over the Lower East Side's Hester Street Fair. Just like last year, Grub Street New York is hosting a street vendor get-together at the corner of Essex and Hester. Unlike last year, they've expanded the space greatly to accommodate the turnout, which means room for more people — and room for more food.

From the best restaurants to trucks and carts to neighborhood joints from all across the boroughs, get a taste of the finest that New York has to offer, in one place! The event will showcase over 50 vendors!

Participating vendors include: An Choi, Arancini Bros., Asiadog, Bark Hot Dogs, Big Gay Ice Cream Truck, Cascabel Taqueria, Cemita's, Char No. 4, Commodore, Daisy Duke's, Ditch Plains, Dolce Nonna, Dos Toros, Eve's Pies, Fatty Cakes, Fonda, Fresh Ginger, Ginger Ale & Bao by Bruce Cost, Georgia's Eastside BBQ, Hot Blondies, Kelvin Natural Slush Co., Kickstand Coffee, La Newyorkina, La Sonrisa Empanadas, Luke's Lobster, Lux Sugar, Macaron Parlour, Mama O’s Premium Kimchee, Mexicue, Mighty Balls, Mimi & Coco, My Hero Cuisine, P&H Soda Co., Patacon Pisao, Peels, Pies 'N Thighs, Purple Yam, Schnitz, SlantShack Jerky, Snap, The Brindle Room, The Chibi Chef, The Shaved Ice Shop, Tuck Shop, Wechsler's, White Belly Pizza, and Wonder City Coffee and Donut Bar.
