Home to the famous surfing Pipeline, the monstrous waves of North Shore draw surf legends from around the world, but swimmers can find a few safe spots too. Chuns is a popular swimming and tanning spot, as is Sunset Beach and Shark's Cove. Ehukai and Haleiwa beaches are better suited for surfers, especially during the wild winter months.
