The Waikiki Community Center is an excellent resource that offers daily fitness and art classes for a low cost. Price per class ranges from $2 - $8, depending on the class. Class are available for non-members, but cost a few dollars more.
Membership is also very affordable: $35/year for individuals (54 & younger), $55/year for ohana (couples, parents, guardians, etc.), $30 for senior Individuals (55 & older), and $40 for senior ohana (couples, parents & guardians). New members are invited to join them on the 2nd Tuesday of each month for a monthly Coffee Hour from 10am - 11am on the lanai to learn more about their membership benefits, enjoy coffee and pastries. There are a variety of classes to chose from, including Hula, 'Ukulele, Art, Beginning Knitting, Gentle Yoga, Noho Hula, Sit & Stitchat, Beginning Korean, Big Band Dance, Okinawan Karate, Tae Kwon Do, AA, Line Dancing, Low Impact Aerobics, Mah Jong, Tap, Salsa Exercise, Muay Tai Kick Boxing, Painting/Watercolor, Scrabble, Piano, Spanish, Zumba, Beginning Harmonica, Lauhala Weaving and Ribbon Lei Making.
