Ice skating is very popular during the winter months in Philadelphia, and there are several city-owned skating rinks as well as numerous private rinks, too numerous to list here.
Among the city rinks, all offer special programs such as skating lessons, ice hockey instruction, and ice hockey leagues. The season opens in November and closes in early March. Call each rink for times and information.
