The home of two of the country's most revered symbols of freedom, the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, the Independence National Historical Mall is "the most historic mile" in United States.

The mall encompasses three square blocks in the City of Philadelphia where the original documents proclaiming freedom from sovereign rule – the Declaration of Independence – and the lawful foundation of the country – the Constitution -- were written.

Also located here is the Liberty Bell which still proclaims liberty with the words, "We the People," the he U.S. Mint which produces between 11 to 20 million coins annually and holds the nation's $100 billion worth of gold and silver assets, Franklin Court, and the Carpenters Hall.
