The Constitution represents one of the most exquisite examples of Enlightenment thinking, and its power is also due in part to its brevity. At only four pages, the U.S. Constitution is among the most influential and important documents in the history of the world. Showcasing this document is the 160,000-square-foot National Constitution Center featuring exhibits, artifacts, and a wide range of interactive displays.
Located on Independence National Historic Mall, the center features an array of exhibits and artifacts about the U.S. Constitution, and also includes the Kimmel Theater where a multi-media presentation offers the story behind the document.
Located just two blocks from the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, it is the only museum devoted to the U.S. Constitution and the story the nation's foundation.
