The brick sidewalk intersection of Front and Dock St. at the Penn's Landing waterfront is home to several smooth granite free-standing walls commemorating the 610 local servicemen and soldiers who hailed from Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia and lost their lives during the Korean War.

The surrounding ground is tastefully landscaped and dotted with petite American flags, wreaths, and flower bouquets. The memorial includes black and white photographs and relief sculptures depicting war scenes, official seals and medals awarded, strategy maps, and dated placards recording deaths and accomplishments. Nearby the free-standing walls, a lifelike statue of a soldier, adorned with guns and grenades, bows his head respectfully, as if mourning for his fallen friends.
