Inside the Winter Garden lobby of the Comcast Center in Philadelphia lies a striking 2,100 square foot video wall that blends creativity, energy, and technology to provide 18 hours a day of unique entertainment.
An increasingly popular tourist destination, this 83.3 foot wide, 25.4 foot high video wall displays hours upon hours of spectacular programming created specifically for The Comcast Experience. Three high-definition cameras placed side-by-side film a variety of natural and urban landscapes, such as Philadelphia's historic sites and a mesmerizing array of outer space, dancers, and acrobats. This high-definition LED screen, the largest four-millimeter screen in the world, displays panoramic images in 10 million pixels of clarity, five times that of regular high-definition television.
The Comcast Experience became so popular that in 2008, it introduced a holiday video featuring dazzling seasonal imagery from snow-covered sleigh rides to scenes from The Nutcracker that runs between Thanksgiving and New Years Day.
