- Category: Arts and Culture, Museums and Exhibits 0 Comments
35mm: Photographs from the Collection will be on display at the Philadelphia Museum of Art from February 11th, 2012 - May 27th, 2012. From the first roll-film Leica in the 1920s to the more familiar disposable cardboard Kodak, the hand-held 35mm camera became a ubiquitous and indispensable photographic tool in the 20th century. Its compact design permitted nearly effortless transport, easy concealment, and fast shutter speeds, and its roll film—which in many cases included up to 100 frames—allowed for a rapid advancement from one picture to the next.- View Event >
