The Comcast Holiday Spectacular, a Philly holiday tradition, debuts on Thanksgiving Day, November 24th, 2011 and runs through January 1st, 2012. Shown on the world's largest 4 mm LED display in the Comcast Center lobby (1701 JFK Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA), this year's show is sure to delight people of all ages. The scenes show will be from from George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker performed by the renowned Pennsylvania Ballet, filmed this past October. The scenes provide a great first-hand glimpse into the beauty and grace of the dancers and their exquisite costumes in this holiday favorite.
The Comcast Holiday Spectacular 2011 will also have additional updated scenes that as well as everyone's favorite magical sleigh ride through the snow covered Pennsylvania countryside, the majestic sounds of a 64-piece orchestra, and more.
