CureSearch Burgers and Brews Philly: February 4, 2012

Posted in: Food and Drink, Upcoming Events

On Saturday, February 4th, 2012, Philadelphians can help raise money for children's cancer research by experiencing live entertainment, and burger and beer pairing stations from the likes of Devil's Alley, Smoking Betty's, Triumph Brewing Company, Rembrandt's, and more. "Burgers and Brews" marks Philly's inaugural fundraiser for CureSearch for Children's Cancer, a national non-profit foundation whose mission is to fund and support children's cancer research and provide information and resources to all those affected by children's cancer.

The event's live auction will include top items such as: Four tickets (2 sets of 2 tickets) to anywhere Southwest Airlines flies; an Elite Island Resorts Caribbean 7-Night Complimentary Resort Accommodation (airfare not included); tickets to Philly Sports team events; a Kitchen Aid standing mixer; and gift certificates to favorite Philadelphia restaurants.

Event proceeds are an investment in the lives of 36 children diagnosed with cancer today, and every day, and the more than 40,000 children, adolescents and young adults who undergo treatment for children's cancer each year.
