Each year the St. Patrick's Day Observance Association hosts the parade on the Sunday prior to St. Patrick's Day unless March 17th falls on Sunday. When March 17th falls on a Sunday, the parade is held on March 17th, St. Patrick's Feast Day. The upcoming St. Patrick's Day Parade will be held on March 10, 2013.
The Theme of the 2013 Parade is: The Philadelphia Irish Memorial: A Decade of Remembrance. The Grand Marshal of the 2013 Parade is: Harry Marnie. For more information, visit: www.philadelphiastpatsparade.com/

So what part of "When March 17th falls on a Sunday, the parade is held on March 17th, St. Patrick's Feast Day" is unclear. This year, March 17th is a SUNDAY!!! So why the heck is the parade on March 10th, and the GREEK parade is on the 17th!
@Tara: We know, it makes no sense, but that's the date they decided on! It's definitely on March 10th, 2013.
