Phoenixville’s Sly Fox Brewhouse in southeastern Pennsylvania has created more than 100 different beers since opening its doors in 1995. Today, this well-known brewery offers a diverse menu of festive seasonal beers, year-round smooth ales and robust stouts, as well as a tasty selection of pub food. Brew highlights include Black Raspberry Reserve, brewed with 1 lb of red and black raspberries per gallon, and the dark, full-bodied Instigator Doppelbock, winner of the bronze medal at the Great American Beer Festival in 2007. The Sly Fox Brewhouse was so successful it had to open a second location in Royersford, 32 miles northwest of Philadelphia. Both locations have an extremely loyal following, as they continually serve up creative brews and delicious pub fare.
