The 85th Annual Portland Scandinavian Midsummer Festival at Oaks Park is set to take place on Saturday, June 15, 2013. A summer solstice celebration for the entire community!
Scandinavians in traditional dress will greet hundreds of visitors beginning at 11 a.m.. Food and crafts are available from local Scandinavian clubs and vendors. Two stages of entertainment and a beer garden promise continuous entertainment with live music and dancing, all with a Scandinavian flavor.

The upcoming Festival of Balloons in Tigard will take place June 21 - 23, 2013. Every year, more than 15,000 spectators arrive at Tigard's beautiful Cook Park early each morning to experience the amazing sight of 20+ hot air balloons launching into the morning sky! Crowds spend the afternoon shopping at the craft vendor booths, daring the rides at the Funtastic carnival, rooting for their teams in the youth soccer tournament, and enjoying live music and entertainment for all ages.
