Lloyd Center is a traditional enclosed shopping mall located in Northeast Portland. As one of Oregon's largest shopping centers, it features Nordstrom, Macy's, Barnes and Noble, and Sears, as well as trendy shops Forever 21 and Hot Topic. Originally conceived and operated as an open-air mall, it was enclosed in the 1990s as part of a national trend to enclose open-air malls and add food courts. Lloyd Center mall now also includes an ice rink and an eight-screen movie theater.
Located in the Lloyd District Business center, it is a commuter-friendly mall with easy access via TriMet, the Portland regional transportation system. The transit bus stops directly outside the mall and the Max rail line stop is only a block away. Not far from the Oregon Convention Center, the Lloyd Center Mall offers three levels of shopping covering 50 acres.
