For sportfishing, you can't find a better place than the San Diego coastline, home to albacore, marlin, shark, yellowfin and bluefin tuna, yellowtail, bass, barracuda, bonito, sand bass, halibut and rock cod. The weather allows fishing year-round, but if you're looking for a particular catch, certain seasons are better of course.
