Rolling hills, prancing deer, tree-hugging bobcats, cartoonish coyotes…who needs the Wild Animal Park when you have Lake Jennings? Wildlife watching is prolific here, and Lake Jennings offers the city folk a chance to let nature truly entertain…as long as the skunks keep their distance!

Camping is allowed year round with a variety of sites that include hookups for RV’s or traditional tents. Either way, there is a great view of the lake and plenty of opportunities to reel in a fresh meal. Jennings is stocked full with trout from mid-October through early April, and catfish during the summer months. You can also pull out large-mouth bass, red-ear sunfish and bluegill, as well as channel and blue catfish. Note that State fishing licenses are not available for purchase at Lake Jennings. They must be obtained prior to visiting the lake. Private boats are allowed to launch, or keep it simple and rent one there.
