With its roots in street theater and its continued focus on artist-directed productions, Lamb’s Players are known for premiering fresh, new works never seen anywhere else before.

Lamb’s Players Theatre has produced over 33 world premieres and over 30 regional premieres. The company is completely artist-directed, nurturing a constant flow of imagination and eliminating the need for a separate management staff. With a resident company of actors, directors and designers, this ensemble theatre has produced original works with artists who have been with the theatre for over 20 years.

Lamb’s Players Theatre is a non-profit performing arts organization that began as a touring street theatre group. The group settled in National City in 1978 before moving to Coronado in 1994. The Lamb’s 350-seat theatre is located in the village of Coronado, housed in the historic Spreckels Building. Its annual five-play season runs from February to November, and continues with Christmas productions in December.

Lamb’s Players perform everything from the classics to comedic musicals. Theater lovers looking for fresh interpretations or entirely new works will find them in its upcoming season.
