The 4th Annual San Diego Brazilian Festival, taking place on Sunday, September 18th, 2011, is the largest Brazilian event on the West Coast! Over 50,000 people were estimated at the last year's event.

Brazilian Day San Diego is free to the public, non-alcoholic and family friendly. It is a day for the community to come together in celebration of Brazilian culture and fine arts. Vendors will serve up traditional Brazilian dishes and other fair favorites, as well as display multicultural arts, crafts, souvenirs and more. Two stages will host live music and dance shows throughout the day. The highlight of the event is the parade, a cultural extravaganza of contagious rhythms, authentic carnival costumes, colorful floats, vibrant folkloric dance groups, beautiful samba dancers, stunning capoeira, and more.

Brazilian Day San Diego will take place September 18, 2011 from 11am - 7pm, on Garnet Avenue between Mission Ave. and Everts St. in Pacific Beach. The parade is scheduled from 3 - 4pm.
