2nd Annual Midnight Water Gun Fight at Balboa Park: August 11, 2012

Load your guns and join check out the 2nd Annual Midnight Water Gun Fight in Balboa Park, taking place on Saturday, August 11th, 2012. Meet at the large fountain in front of San Diego Natural History Museum at 11:45pm (near Park Blvd.). First "squirt" will be at the stroke of midnight and then it is a free-for-all of water gun madness!
Bring your own water gun and dress appropriate for the occasion, cuz you are gonna get wet! Wacky outfits, crazy costumes, tiny swimsuits, body paint, etc. are all welcome and encouraged! For more information, visit Facebook.
Roughly 2,000 people attended this event spearheaded by Ken St. Pierre. The damage caused by these people is horrible!
Dear Law Enforcement, Beware of punk's that attempt to mislead you by dropping unsubstantiated names of people who "supposedly" were involved with this brazen act of vandalism. Is this "Ken St. Pierre" involved? Possibly. But just remember that these losers are from a generation that is entrenched in the erroneous concept of entitlement, so they can not be trusted to assist you (except for negatively) in any way.
The damage caused by this event is ridiculous.
You all should be ashamed of yourselves for letting it get that out of hand.
The extent of the damage is appalling. The park belongs to all San Diego residents and I'm upset with the damage that was caused. I hope those that participated in the mayhem are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law-and judging by the pictures that have already been posted, I'm sure the investigation is progressing nicely. You all should be ashamed of yourselves.
What a shame. Maybe do this at the beach in the future? I do hope they find the people who started the idea and make them really think about impact and consequences in the future.
Since your so good at gathering people!!! The least you can do now, is setup a FUNDRAISER and donation towards the repairs needed for the pond.
The SDPD has been supplied all video footage and night vision footage of the incident. They will now begin with the help of the FBI to identify all individuals who were involved and begin arrests. SDPD, FBI the US AG and City Attorney are involved and have begun a task force to prosecute to the fullest extent of the law.
The best thing to do is to come forward now to avoid embarrasment and criminal time.
We're very sorry to hear about the damage resulting from this event as well. We will not be posting any more events from the organizer or events similar to this one in the future.
YES. IT IS YOUR DUTY TO FIX THE PROBLEM. ORGANIZE A FUNDRAISER TO REPAIR ALL THE DAMAGE TO BALBOA PARK YOU CREATED.
