There is nothing more beautiful than a boat, except a boat at night. Come enjoy the 40th Annual San Diego Bay Parade of Lights, featuring decorated boats against the backdrop of downtown San Diego. This annual event is held on two consecutive Sundays during December - taking place on December 11th & 18th, 2011 this year. The parade begins at Shelter Island and passes Harbor Island, the Embarcadero, Seaport Village, Coronado Island, Marriott Hotel and Ferry Landing Marketplace, ending at the Navy aircraft carrier turning basin.
