61st Anniversary of Las Posadas: December 10 & 11, 2011

This centuries-old tradition is being celebrated in Old Town San Diego State Historic Park for the 61st consecutive year on Sunday, December 11th, 2011. Please join the Park Merchants Association as they reenact the biblical journey of Mary and Joseph through the town of Bethlehem. The event is from 1-8pm with carolers and children’s choirs in the state park, with the live theatrical procession starting promptly at 4:30 - 6pm. A piñata party for all the children follows the procession at 6pm.
In addition, on Saturday, December 10th, 2011 - come out for holiday treats, strolling carolers, craft activities and more.
