FREE Chocolate Chip Cookies in San Francisco: July 27, 2011

In May, DoubleTree by Hilton Hotels kicked off a nationwide tour in a specially designed food truck called the Cookie CAREavan to celebrate the 25th anniversary of its iconic chocolate chip cookie. Tying into the street food phenomenon, the DoubleTree by Hilton Cookie CAREavan has embarked on a 10-week, 10,000-mile, 50-city tour to bring its sweet treats to tired travelers, weary workers and local charities nationwide.
On Wednesday, July 27th, 2011, the Cookie CAREavan will stop in San Francisco at Pier 41 at Beach Street and The Embarcadero to hand out 15,000 free chocolate chip cookies from 10am - 4pm, to help sweeten summer travel.
While the Cookie CAREavan is in town, San Francisco natives can tweet @DoubleTree for a chance to get their own sweet break. Using the hashtag #SweetBreak, office mates can rally for a chance to win 250 hand delivered chocolate chip cookies to the office.
