The Bellingham Festival of Music is set to take place from July 6th - 21st, 2012. The Bellingham Festival of Music is one of America's premier virtuoso orchestra festivals. Members of the orchestra all hold artistically prestigious positions elsewhere, and many of them are principal players in major North American symphony orchestras. Now in its 19th season, the Festival recently received two consecutive grants from the National Endowment for the Arts. Selections of concert performances are often broadcast by NPR Performance Today and KING-FM.
Individual festival tickets are as follows: $33.00 and $43.00 for concerts at the WWU Performing Arts Center. Student tickets are $12.00. Tickets for the concert at the Mount Baker Theatre featuring guest violinist Joshua Bell range from $29.00 to $59.00. Tickets to the annual Chamber Music By the Bay concert at the Bellingham Cruise Terminal are priced at $45.00. Tickets for the guitar recital at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church, featuring renowned guitarist Pablo Sainz Villegas, are priced at $20.00. All tickets are available from the WWU box office.
