The Washington Brewers Festival, the commission’s premiere, Father’s Day weekend event, is moving to King County’s Marymoor Park in Redmond, WA after spending five of the last six years at St. Edward State Park in Kenmore, WA. The move will allow the 64 brewery event to continue its steady growth and expose Washington craft beers to a new clientele.
The upcoming Washington Brewers Festival will take place June 15th - 17th, 2012 and festival goers will find ample parking and a spectacular tree lined venue. “We are proud to offer Marymoor Park as the new home of the Washington Brewer’s Festival in 2012 – a showcase of our state’s finest craft brewers,” said Jessica Emerson – King County Parks’ Business Development Manager. “King County’s Marymoor Park is a fantastic location, with convenient access to much of the region, and features the kind of amenities that make it a perfect fit for this traditional Pacific Northwest event.”
