Mule Drawn Canal Boat Rides

Mule Drawn Canal Boat Rides
Mule Drawn Canal Boat Rides

The National Park Service operates one-hour long mule drawn canal boat rides at two locations along the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal in Washington, DC. Park rangers dress up in historical clothing and mules walk on the towpath along the canal, pulling the 19th century canal boats as passengers are transported back in time to the 1870s.
