A great recreational resource, Anacostia Park encompasses over 1200 acres following the Anacostia River and including Kenilworth Park, Aquatic Gardens and Kenilworth Marsh. The area includes picnicking areas, ball fields, basketball and tennis courts, and the enormous Anacostia Park Pavilion for roller skating and various events. Also in the park is the 18-hole Langston Golf Course, three marinas, and a public boat ramp.
