Welcome in the holiday season with the three hundred voices of the Fairfax Choral Society as theye present Christmas with FCS - Carols from the Old and New Worlds on Saturday, December 10th, 2011. Featured on the program are favorite carols in arrangements spanning six centuries, including works by Samuel Scheidt, Johannes Brahms, Sigfrid Karg-Elert, Arthur Honegger, Morten Lauridsen, and Chip Davis. Renowned organ virtuoso, Eric Plutz, will perform on the magnificent 106-rank Æolian-Skinner pipe organ along with an ensemble of brass, percussion, harp, recorder, and handbells.
