One of the D.C. area's great community traditions, the Festival of Lights at the Washington, DC Mormon Temple features free concerts nightly in the comfortable, state-of-the-art theater located in the Visitors' Center. Festival of Lights will run from December 2nd, 2011 - January 2nd, 2012. This impressive church and its surrounding grounds shine brightly with more than 500,000 sparkling Christmas lights!

Each concert showcases a different talented community group. Nightly performances are at 7pm and 8pm at the Washington D.C. Temple Visitors' Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

This year they are using free tickets for all performances in the main theater. Once you have a ticket in hand you will be free to enjoy the lights, the international créche exhibit and all other aspects of the Christmas Season rather than standing in long lines and worrying whether you’ll get a seat at the performance.

They will begin distributing tickets 90 minutes before the beginning of each performance and will continue to hand them out until they are gone or until 10 minutes before the performance begins, whichever comes first.
