I am confused....your blog states that registration for seats for the Opera in the Outfield Tosca event will be available in August. Later in the blog it says "IMPORTANT....you do not need to register for seats for this..." Would like to bring wheelchair bound brother-in-law and his wife to this. Do I need to register for seats or not? Would hate to bring them in from northern VA if we weren't able to get into an area where he could watch the action and read the subtitles. What a fantastic idea for an event. We are very excited....just don't want to blow it! Thanks, Sue Davison
@sue davison Hi Sue. Thank you for your comment. Registration is required for reserved seating, however is not required for seating in the stands and on the outfield grass. Just make sure to arrive early if you're a walk-up guest as this event is going to get very crowded. I assume the venue is wheelchair friendly, but to make sure, please contact the Kennedy Center directly at: 800-444-1324 or 202-467-4600. Good luck!
Many thanks for a fabulous event!
