The bartenders are very friendly, and drink prices are reasonable. Bourbon has a huge list of whiskeys, single and double malts, scotches, and of course, bourbons. But that's not all it has, Bourbon even has a great selection of comfort foods such as hamburgers, soups and grilled cheese.

If you're looking for a classy upscale bar, then Dan's is not it. Dan's is definitely a dive. But a great dive. One of the best dives in DC. With excellent prices on drinks, a fun laid back atmosphere and a bunch of drunken fun.

The place is also huge, there are four floors total. The first two are mainly people listening to music, the third is a bit more loungy and the 4th is the rooftop patio. There are great happy hour deals including 2 for 1 drink specials and 1/2 off various appetizers.

  • Description: Millie and Al's is best described as 'cozy' and 'comfy'. It's perfect for those rainy days. They're also known for their specials. Keep your eyes out, there are dollar jello shots when the light goes off on the bar. Other specials include 25 cent beers until 4pm, 50 cent beers until 5pm, $1 beers until 8, and $2 beers thereafter. Check with Millie and Al for days.

  • Description: A Russian Themed lounge and many Russian inspired drinks, the Russia House has a beautiful classy bar upstairs, with a great view of the street below. The service is excellent, the drinks are a bit on the pricey side, but the overall experience is definitely worth a trip.

  • Description: A great place if you just want to chill out and drink a few beers with your friends. Toledo Lounge offers $2 drafts during happy hour (Yuengling, Toledo Hefe, Sierra Nevada), and has great Sunday happy hour specials. Their food is also great, try the grilled cheese, it's a favorite among locals. This bar does get a bit crowded at peak times, so try to keep your group intimate.
