- Description: Rock and Roll Hotel, a DC hot-spot, has been a favorite for quite some time. The atmosphere, decor, and bar staff are excellent. It's a great size for a music venue, intimate but just large enough that a band can get the crowd fired up. The cover is typically $12 and drinks are a bit pricey, but it's well worth it. There are a lot of little rooms upstairs, which is great when you need to take a little break from the loud music.

- Description: With a very chill, relaxed and warm environment, The Pug is one of the best local neighborhood bars in the H Street area. The drinks are reasonably priced, and the food is great. But wait, the service is better. The bartenders are known as the most friendly bartenders in the area. But be ware, if you're heading to the Pug because you like little cute pugs, think again. The Pug was a boxer, not a dog.
